We combine user research, product development, and compliance analysis to help teams understand real-world workflows and turn evidence into practical product decisions.
Independent perspective, grounded in documented user experience.
What we do
Our work connects user research, product development, and compliance. Each engagement is scoped around the question, the users involved, and the evidence needed to support decisions.
Evidence-based review of user journeys, product workflows, and relevant compliance considerations, translated into practical recommendations.

Why ComplianceRise
"Research informs what we build. Testing helps us improve it."
We connect research with product implementation. Observations are translated into requirements, proposed controls, workflows, and testable evaluation criteria to support product decisions and validation.
Research since 2021 has examined fintech onboarding, social commerce, AI outputs, and e-commerce workflows. That work informs reports, evaluation tools, and product prototypes, including ProductGuard and Prism.
ComplianceRise brings research and product development into one practice, with experience translating documented observations into working software and structured evaluation tools.

About
Product teams often need a clear path from observation to decision. ComplianceRise brings together trust and safety research, compliance analysis, and 0-to-1 product development to help define that path.
We examine user journeys, observe workflows, and gather input from users and domain experts. We document what was observed and distinguish it from assumptions, scenarios, and questions that may need further validation.
We translate research into requirements, proposed controls, and workflows. Priorities consider user impact, usability, operational needs, and implementation constraints.
We develop prototypes and software, then test behavior against explicit criteria. Evaluation covers consistency, false positives, edge cases, and usability so the next iteration is grounded in evidence.
ComplianceRise works where user experience, platform safety, and complex requirements intersect. We review defined questions and develop practical recommendations, evaluation tools, or software around an agreed scope.
An agreed scope, clear deliverables, and documentation that distinguishes observations from assumptions. Recommendations include priorities and validation criteria. ProductGuard access is available by request; Prism is available as a prototype demonstration.
Services
Every engagement starts with a real challenge and ends with something your team can actually use — clear evidence, working software, or both.
Thoughtful, systematic research into how your platform really works for the people using it — so your policies and your product tell the same story.
We study fintech, social media, e-commerce, rideshare, and AI platforms through the lens of real user behavior. The methodology combines heuristic evaluation, behavioral journey mapping, and relevant regulatory analysis to produce clear documentation for product, compliance, and legal teams. Reports can include a phased improvement roadmap with priorities and validation criteria.
Request access to ProductGuard or a private demonstration of the Prism prototype. We will discuss the available capabilities and relevant checks for your use case.
ProductGuard screens cosmetic, supplement, food, and OTC product content for selected compliance and marketplace-readiness considerations, with supporting context and suggested revisions. Prism evaluates AI-generated and marketing content against structured regulatory and policy criteria. Both grew from recurring observations in product and platform research.
End-to-end product development for compliance-adjacent industries, from architecture to deployment to shipped product.
We develop software around a defined user or operational need. Work can include discovery, requirements, workflow design, data architecture, AI-assisted development, QA, and deployment. Scope, deliverables, and validation criteria are agreed before implementation.
A clear-eyed review of your AI system against active regulatory frameworks — so your team ships with confidence, not guesswork.
We evaluate AI products against FTC guidelines, FDA requirements, EU AI Act obligations, EU DSA mandates, and COPPA protections. The assessment surfaces opportunities to strengthen your system, documents them with severity scores, and sequences the roadmap so your team knows exactly where to focus first. Deliverables support internal product decisions and preparation for specialist review.
Let's talk
Tell us what you're working on. We'll tell you honestly what makes sense — and what doesn't.
Work With ComplianceRise
We work with product teams, policy teams, and founders. The best engagements are the ones where the challenge is real, the goals are clear, and the work will genuinely make things better for the people using your product.
We read every message. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so honestly — and do our best to point you toward someone who is.
Tell us what you're working on. The more specific you are, the faster we can tell you how we'd help.
Portfolio
Selected research reports, evaluation tools, and product prototypes developed through ComplianceRise. Some case studies are available privately by request.
Research Reports
The case study maps a six-stage pathway through standard platform features where younger users may encounter age-restricted commerce. Recommendations consider product design, seller verification, age controls, and moderation. The proposed changes are design hypotheses intended for further validation.
The research examines how reused or compromised credentials can affect onboarding security. It considers compromised-password screening alongside stronger authentication, session controls, and recovery safeguards. Effectiveness, latency, and implementation effort would require validation in the target system.
GuardBreach is a related credential-checking demonstration. It illustrates one element of the proposed approach; production integration and security outcomes require separate validation.
